Mr. G Rajendran is the founder of GRT Group, which started with a less than 500 sq. ft. jewelry showroom in Chennai in 1964. Over the decades, the company has grown into a conglomerate with diverse business interests spanning jewelry, hotel, education, renewable energy, and real estate. RAR Fincare is the latest addition to the GRT Group, launched with a vision to become the most trustworthy financial services provider in the country.

Mr. Rajendran has always taken personalized care and attention for customers which has earned him goodwill among customers and helped build the brand. He was also instrumental in strategizing RAR Fincare with a clear vision and mission statement. As much as focusing on building the brand, Mr. Rajendran also invests in giving back to society by setting up schools, colleges, and trusts.

Mr. G.R. Ananthapadmanabhan holds a BCom degree from Loyola College, Chennai, and has attended the Owners Presidents Management Program at Harvard Business School. He has been playing a key role in transforming the GRT group from a two-showroom retailer to a conglomerate with interests in Jewelry, Financial Services, Hospitality, Real Estate, Education, and Renewable Energy. He has vast experience in all business areas, including finance, operations, and day-to-day business management.

Mr. Ananthapadmanabhan, being one of the founding directors, closely manages the operations of RAR Fincare and pushes to deliver the best for its customers. He always keeps himself abreast of the financial services sector and is keen on leveraging technology to create value for RAR Fincare’s customers.

Mr. G.R. Radhakrishnan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Loyola College, Chennai, and has attended the Owners Presidents Management Program at Harvard Business School. He has been playing an instrumental role in the GRT group’s diversification endeavors and is actively involved in the strategy design and operationalization of the NBFC, RAR Fincare Limited.

Being a founding director, he takes special care in ensuring the quality of services and adherence to policy norms in the operations of the NBFC. Mr. Radhakrishnan is keen on building a team of professionals and adding new products to RAR Fincare’s portfolio catering to the demand of its customers.

K Parthasarathy is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India. He’s also a life time associate member of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. He has started his professional career with Indian Bank as a credit officer. Post 14 years of working in Indian Bank, which includes a 5 year long deputation to Indbank Merchant Banking Services Ltd, he moved to HDFC Bank and served there for 21 years. He joined HDFC Bank as a branch head and rose to the ranks of Regional Head and then to Deputy Vice President. He retired from HDFC Bank while functioning as the Training Manager for wholesale credit, risk and operations for India. During this time, he led a project to get the training division ISO certified.

Mr. Parthasarathy is a certified Independent Director by the Institute of Directors and a Life time Member of the IOD. He’s also a certified Internal Auditor of Quality Systems from a reputed British Institution.

Mr. R Parthasarathy is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is an advisor to the Board of Orange Retail Finance India Pvt Ltd, from FY 2017 onwards, handling fundraising activities, compliances under RBI & FEMA, portfolio quality checks and improvements, internal controls & policies, financial reporting, tax advisory – direct & indirect taxation and Information Technology – systems design & implementation.

He is also Founder Partner of ‘Chanakya Finserv’, a financial services boutique offering a range of financial services that include Virtual CFO services, Capital Raise, Debt Syndication, Advisory Services for statutory compliances, business / financial / credit process reengineering, etc. The clientele includes a host of NBFCs, Real estate concerns, MSMEs, and start-ups.

Mr. R Parthasarathy joined RAR Fincare Limited as an Independent Director in May 2022.

Mr. Meenakshisundaram RM is a Qualified B.E(Hons) & CAIIB with extensive experience across diverse facets such as banking operations, credit administration, Stressed Asset and Recovery, business development, and client service in the Banking Industry. Previously served as President –Corporate Banking at Lakshmi Vilas Bank, handling the Bank’s entire credit portfolio (excluding Retail Lending) and Management of stressed assets and recovery of the Bank. Prior to LVB, served as General Manager (Scale VII-Top Executive Cadre) and Headed the Canara Bank Circle Office, Chennai, which was the 4th largest among all the Banks in Tamil Nadu. Prior to being promoted as General Manager, served as Deputy General Manager (CREDIT) at Canara Bank Circle Office, Mumbai, with the largest credit portfolio of the Bank. He has handled operational and business-related aspects for SME-SSI credits/corporate credit/overseas business/large borrower accounts/risk management Proficient in heading routine banking operations involving Credit administration, risk management, client servicing, etc. He holds the position of Independent Director, ITCOT Limited, a Joint Venture of the Tamil Nadu Govt and banks since 2019 and recently joined the board of Navarathna Housing Finance Limited as Independent Director on 10 th Sept 2022

Mr. Venkatasubramanian is a veteran banker with 38 years of experience spanning across leading banks such as Canara Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and City Union Bank. He has functional expertise in Credit Management, Monitoring, Recovery, Business Development, Audit & Compliance, Credit Risk Management, Process Management, Digital Transformation, Profitability/Balance Sheet Management, etc.

In his last role as the COO of City Union Bank, he led the bank’s transformation from a purely service & operation-oriented bank to a business & marketing-oriented bank with no compromises on client satisfaction & risk management. These initiatives have yielded excellent results in the bank’s overall performance, NPA/recovery management, cost reduction and shareholders’ value. With his diverse experience across PSU banks and new & old private sector banks, he is scaling up the organization as one of the leading NBFCs in India.
